New study links Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) to higher risk of eating disorders

A study presented in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism suggests that women diagnosed with PCOS have a 53% higher risk of developing an eating disorder, especially bulimia nervosa or binge eating disorder, than women without PCOS. The study concludes that more research is needed.
