Working long hours increases the risk of heart disease and mental health problems

Research published by the European Heart Journal shows that working 55 hours or more per week increases your risk of developing atrial fibrillation and stroke. However, other medical problems such as obesity and diabetes are also linked with working longer hours so the causation is not yet known.
