Women who have their ovaries removed to slash the risk of cancer 'have a greater risk of dementia'

Women who have their ovaries removed face an increased risk of developing dementia, however, taking HRT pills may stabilise cognitive decline during the menopause. These findings were presented at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference.
