Women who eat too little during pregnancy increase risk of obesity in children (Daily Telegraph, 9 September 2008)

Research led by Dr Helen Budge, from the Centre of Reproduction and Early Life at Nottingham University, shows that women who consume too few calories during the early stages of pregnancy, increase the risk of having a child who develops obesity later in life. Dr Budge presented the results at the BA Festival of Science in Liverpool.
