Wastewater upgrade filters gender-bending chemicals (Reuters, 21 June 2010)

Findings reported at ENDO 2010 in San Diego, USA, have shown that standard upgrades to waste water management can mitigate the reported feminisation of river-dwelling animals such as fish, a phenomenon thought to be due to the effects of endocrine disrupting chemicals introduced into water sources by man.
