Update on somatropin-containing medicines (European Medicines Agency press release, 16 December 2010)

The European Medicines Agency is advising prescribers to continue to follow the indications and approved doses for somatropin-containing medicines, and not to exceed the maximum recommended dose of 50µg/kg weight/day, whilst it conducts a safety review of recombinant growth hormone therapy.
