UNH researcher helps identify key reproductive hormone in oldest vertebrate (EurekAlert, 5 October 2010)

Researchers from the US and Japan have idenitifed the first reproductive hormone of the hagfish, a vertebrate that was in existance 500 million years ago. The finding advances our understanding of the evolution of the reproductive system.
