UEA research reveals responses of genes in females to sex (EurekAlert, 11 September 2012)

Research published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B looks at how female Drosophila melanogaster, the fruit fly, respond to mating, showing that a protein in semen causes genetic changes in the female altering fertility, immunity and libido.
