Treatment helps prevent early menopause in breast cancer patients (Reuters, 30 May 2014)

A study presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology has been in the news for showing that women with early-stage breast cancer receiving the GnRH agonist goserelin along with chemotherapy were 64% less likely to develop early menopause than women who had chemotherapy alone, preserving their ability to have children.
