Tour de France: Lars Boom’s cortisol level returns to normal, say Astana

Cyclist Lars Bloom’s cortisol levels have “returned to a physiologically normal state”, according to his team Astana. Bloom started the Tour de France despite having lower than normal cortisol levels – which can indicate abuse of cortisone – leading to a temporary suspension by the organisation Movement for Credible Cycling.
