Study shows wide gulf in cancer survival between countries

The most comprehensive international comparison of cancer survival to date, covering countries that are home to two-thirds of the world's population, shows extremely wide differences in survival between countries. The study also found that being overweight and obese causes nearly half a million new cancer cases in adults every year, roughly 3.6 percent of the world's total. Agence France-Presse
