Study finds what makes calorie-burning "brown fat" (Reuters, 6 May 2010)

Scientists at the German Cancer Research Centre in Heidelberg and the University of Lausanne, Switzerland have discovered that the enzyme COX-2 is required for the differentiation of brown fat cells from adipose stem cells, which has highlighted the potential of stem cell therapy in tackling the continuing obesity epidemic.
