Study finds leptin restores fertility, may improve bone health in lean women (EurekAlert, 4 April 2011)

A small study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences has found that injections of leptin may help some women of reproductive age who have stopped menstruating due to low body fat to resume menstruation and ovulation.
