Sleeping badly during childhood may increase diabetes and obesity risk

Children with a bad sleeping routine may develop an unhealthy balance of gut bacteria, leading to an increased risk of obesity and diabetes in later life, according to research published at the European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology 2018 conference.
