Sleep deprivation feeds hunger: around four extra slices of toast a day, research suggests

A new systematic review by researchers at Kings College London suggests that people who get less than seven hours sleep a night consume an average of 385 extra calories per day. The research was published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
