Scientists discover gene that controls body clock

Zinc finger homeobox 3 (Zfhx3), which is highly active in the hypothalamus, has been identified as a highly important gene regulating the expression of neurotransmitters crucial to the working of the SCN in synchronising circadian rhythms.
