Pictures of food create feelings of hunger (EurekAlert, 19 January 2012)

Scientists from Germany have conducted a study which suggests that blood levels of grehlin, a hormone involved in appetite regulation, are raised when subjects view pictures of 'appetising' food. The research is published in Obesity.
