Painkillers may lower risk of breast and ovarian cancers: Harvard researchers (Daily Telegraph, 24 March 2010)

New research has shown that regular use of analgesics such as aspirin can reduce circulating levels of oestrogen in women. The team from Harvard say that this could provide a new lead in the prevention and treatment of certain hormone-sensitive cancers.
