Oestrogen receptor ligands show promise for treating endometriosis

Researchers from the US have found that oestrogen receptor ligands, chloroindazole (CLI) and oxabicyckiheptene sulfonate (OBHS), can be used to control inflammation and reduce lesions in mouse models of endometriosis without affecting fertility; their work was published in the journal Science Translational Medicine.
