Non-stick chemical linked to thyroid disease (The Daily Telegraph, 21 January 2010)

A study by the University of Exeter and Peninsula Medical School has described an association betweeen higher blood levels of perfluorooctanoic acid - a synthetic chemical used in a number of household items - and increased rates of thyroid disease.
