New imaging technique pinpoints position of rare pancreatic tumours (AlphaGalileo, 7 May 2012)

Researchers have found a non-invasive way to identify the exact position of very small insulinomas, thereby enabling surgeons to operate successfully to remove growths that can be less than one centimetre in diameter. The findings were presented at the joint International Congress of Endocrinology/European Congress of Endocrinology.
