New Hormone Treatment Shows Potential to Reverse Infertility (Science Daily, 16 March 2010)

New research presented at the Society for Endocrinology BES meeting 2010 has shown that twice-weekly injection with the hormone kisspeptin can stimulate the sustained production of sex hormones in women who have lost this ability due to a condition known as hypothalamic amenorrhoea. The findings could lead to a fertility treatment for women made infertile by this conditon.
