Mother's junk food diet linked to liver disease in offspring (Royal Veterinary College press release, 5 March 2010)

Research funded by the Wellcome Trust has shown that a 'junk food' diet during pregnancy and breastfeeding in mice can contribute to the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in offspring.
