Maternal thyroid hormone levels affect newborn birth weight

Birth weight may be affected by maternal thyroid-stimulating hormone and free thyroxine levels, with a stronger relationship found for boys, according to findings published in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.
