Long-term unemployment associated with poorer health (Endocrine Today, 22 March 2010)

A study presented at the Society for Endocrinology 2010 BES conference has shown that patients of several chronic endocrine conditions are at increased risk of long-term unemployment related to their disease. Professor John Wass, the study's author, suggests that some of these patients may benefit from greater support to return to work.
