Kisspeptin stimulates release of oxytocin during birth

A study, published in The Journal of Physiology, shows that kisspeptin stimulates the release of oxytocin during pregnancy, causing uterus contractions during birth. These findings suggest that blocking kisspeptin could reduce risk of preterm birth
