Kidneys from diabetic donors may benefit many transplant candidates

A new study in the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology indicates that receiving donor kidneys from individuals with diabetes may offer a greater survival benefit than remaining on the waitlist for many transplant candidates.
