In women with BRCA mutation, early ovary removal may save lives (Reuters, 24 February 2014)

A Canadian study in Journal of Clinical Oncology assessed the risk of developing ovarian cancer in women with BRCA1 mutations who have their ovaries removed before the age of 35 compared to those who don’t.
