Hormone replacement therapy increases ovarian cancer risk

A meta-analysis of 52 separate studies has concluded that hormone replacement therapy increases the risk of ovarian cancer. For every 1,000 women taking HRT drugs for five years from the age of 50, one extra woman will develop ovarian cancer.
