Hormone improves long-term recovery from stroke (Medical News Today, 16 May 2011)

Researchers at the Sahlgrenska Academy, Sweden, have found that a higher level of insulin-like growth factor 1 is associated with better recovery from a stroke in patients that are followed-up for at least two years following the stroke.
