High cardiovascular hormone levels in cancer patients linked to shorter survival

High circulating levels of the cardiovascular hormones NT-proBNP, MR-proANP, MR-proADM, CT-pro-ET and copeptin are indicative of heart tissue damage and linked to shorter survival rates in cancer patients, according to a new study in Heart.
