19 Aug 2015

Research in rats has suggested that the metabolism-regulating hormone glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) may play an important role in regulating the reproductive system by linking energy input to the short-term adjustment of the gonadotropic axis. The study carried out by researchers at the University of Vigo, Spain was published in the journal Endocrinology.
