Gestational diabetes, obesity increase risk for adverse maternal, neonatal outcomes

Research from the Örebro University suggests that obese pregnant women with gestational diabetes have a higher risk of caesarean section, delivering a baby that is large for gestational age and preeclampsia compared to normal weight women without gestational diabetes.
