FSH increase may be linked to bone density loss and weight-gain at menopause

Studies in mice showed that during induced menopause, FSH could be responsible for redistribution of body fat, weight-gain and bone loss. The study, published in Nature showed that blocking FSH minimised bone loss and weight gain at menopause.
