Fish pollutants' link to diabetes (BBC News Online, 12 April 2007)

Researchers have found there may be a link between pollutants found in oily fish and type two diabetes. An international team found that high levels of persistent organic pesticides in the blood stream were related to increased insulin resistance, a precursor to diabetes.
