FGF23 affects mortality and cardiovascular risks in type 2 diabetes (1)

High levels of fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF23) is associated with increased cardiovascular and mortality risks in people with type 2 diabetes with normal or mildly impaired kidney function, according to findings published in Diabetes Care.
