Experts recommend tumour removal as first-line treatment for acromegaly

The Endocrine Society has today issued a Clinical Practice Guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of acromegaly, recommending that surgery to remove tumours from the pituitary gland should be the primary treatment for most patients. EurekAlert
