English Health Ministers agree to commissioning for six more rare conditions (OrphaNews, 22 April 2011)

The Government has agreed to national commissioning of services for Wolfram syndrome, insulin resistance syndromes, and severe and complex forms of osteogenesis imperfecta, among other rare diseases. National commissioning is designed to establish centres of excellence and streamline funding for specific diseases.
