Early insulin therapy found to produce better outcomes for patients

A pilot study carried out at The Ohio University Diabetes Institute has found that treating type - 2 diabetes patients with early insulin therapy is as effective as 15 months of oral therapy and improves the body’s ability to produce insulin.
