Early-day psychotherapy enhanced by higher cortisol levels

For patients with panic disorder with agoraphobia, cortisol mediates the effect of the time of day on subsequent outcome, with greater clinical improvement seen for earlier exposure sessions, according to a study published in Psychoneuroendocrinology.
