Discovery of alcohol-regulating hormone could lead to pill which prevents cravings

Researchers from the King’s College London have shown how the liver hormone FGF21 plays a role in alcohol cravings. The findings are published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and could lead to treatments for people who experience alcohol related health problems.
