Detection of vitamin B12 deficiency in type-2 diabetes patients may lower nerve damage risk

Research, presented at the Society for Endocrinology annual conference, suggests that screening for vitamin B12 deficiency in type-2 diabetes patients, treated with metformin, can reduce their risk of developing nerve damage.
