Dairy foods 'could help prevent diabetes' (BBC News Online, 21 December 2010)

A large study published in Annals of Internal Medicine has found that higher levels of trans-palmitoleic acid, a fatty acid found in a variety of dairy products, is linked with a reduced risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
