Could antipsychotic drugs affect thyroid function?

Findings of an Italian study, presented at the Schizophrenia International Research Society 2018 biennial meeting, suggest that patients being treated with antipsychotics for mental health disorders are also more likely to have hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism.
