Contrary to popular belief, not all obese people are at risk for disease

Findings published this week in The Journal of Clinical Investigation demonstrate that some obese people are protected from the adverse metabolic effects of moderate weight gain (such as, diabetes, heart disease and stroke) while others are predisposed to these problems. Medical Daily
