Contraceptive coil raises hope of delaying womb cancer (BBC News Online, 29 September 2010)

An early study on hormonal treatment using an intrauterine device (IUD) has shown the potential to stall disease progression in women with very early stage womb cancer long enough for them to conceive. The findings are published in the journal Annals of Oncology.
