Can an abnormal menstrual cycle be caused by a concussion?

According to a study, published in JAMA Pediatrics, women who suffer a concussion during adolescence may experience dysfunction in their hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis, leading to an abnormal menstrual cycle.
