Brothers turn female marmots into 'tom boys' (BBC News Online, 31 August 2011)

A US study on marmots shows that female marmots born as part of a largely male litter exhibit more masculine behaviour (such as playfighting). The researchers propose that larger amounts of testosterone in the womb might impact on the females' brain development.
