Blueberries virtually eliminate baby blues by protecting 'happy hormones'

A study published in PNAS reports that the amino acids tryptophan and tyrosine, which are found in blueberries, can compensate for the post-partum protein surge that reduces ‘feel-good hormones’ in the brain.
