15 eggs is the perfect number needed to achieve a live birth after IVF (EurekAlert, 10 May 2011)

A UK study has analysed over 400,000 IVF cycles to suggest that doctors should aim to retrieve around 15 eggs in one cycle in order to maximise live birth rates whilst limiting the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.
